CITT Ambassador Application

The Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust (CITT) is the volunteer 15-member body created to oversee the People's Transportation Plan funded with the Half-penny Sales Surtax.

CITT Ambassadors are transit riders who volunteer to regularly share their experiences and observations of using transit with CITT via a mobile app in exchange for rewards. Additionally, they receive rewards for sharing CITT messaging on their social media platforms.

Volunteers also participate in CITT customer focus groups to help the CITT, the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation & Public Works (DTPW), and municipalities learn how well a service is performing, provide feedback on new services and more.

PLEASE NOTE: It is important that you provide the same email address that you use with your Go Miami-Dade Transit app account (if you have one). If you are currently a Velocia app user, then the Go Miami-Dade app email address will be identical to your Velocia app email address. Should you be approved as a CITT Ambassador, you will need to register to use the Velocia app. If you are not already a registered Velocia app user and are later selected as a CITT Ambassador, please ensure that you register with Velocia using the same email address and phone number you provide on this form.

We are committed to collecting credible data to share with the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation & Public Works (DTPW) and municipalities to help improve services. Are you able to make this commitment?
Our intention is to create a diverse group of CITT Ambassadors to cover all the Miami-Dade County public transportation routes, stations, and services. Please help us to ensure inclusivity by completing the information shown below.

Miami-Dade County will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services to ensure effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in Miami-Dade County's programs, services, and activities. Do you require an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in the CITT Ambassador program?
Our volunteers have the option of sharing CITT messaging on their social media platforms in exchange for rewards. Are you willing and able to do this in a way that reflects positively on the CITT?
